A Body of Water

Written by Lee Blessing / Directed by Chris Dill

Moss and Avis, an attractive, middle-aged couple, wake up one morning in an isolated summer house high above a picturesque body of water. The weather's fine; the view's magnificent. There's only one problem-neither of them can remember who they are. When a young woman named Wren arrives, information starts to flood in. But will it help? Her explanations seem only to make Moss and Avis' world-as well as ours-more terrifying.

Featuring: Jonathan Whipple, Karen Adair & KC Dill.

Tickets are $5 at the door.

This 1960’s doo-wop style musical comedy is
a story about the power of love, the price
of fame, and the proper feed and care of houseplants. When a nerdy florist shop worker, Seymour, is looking for a little attention, he ends up getting a little more than he bargained for when the plant that he is raising develops a thirst for a rather unusual kind of “plant food”!

Filled with singing, dancing, laughing (& laughing gas), this show will be a UPT first! Whether you remember the classic Roger Corman B-movie (featuring a young Jack Nicholson), the Broadway smash hit musical, or the Academy Award-nominated movie, you’ll enjoy this wild play.
